Then run a whipple supercharger on around 12 psi! the engine and trans should handle the power! use HP or Diablo to have it tuned. I would also recommend going with the APE performance E85 kit! very easy to install and requires no tuning~ and once you get the Diablo or HP tuners the E85 should help make even more HP.

I'm wanting to put in a Whipple Supercharger and Borla ATAK catback exhaust, my concerns are damaging the engine in any type of way and or completely blowing it because it is not forged.
High flows are a great option. One huge benefit is that you don't have to deal with the reprogram required for cat-less designs. By going to the high flow, you will have the before-after O2's in place. You will still benefit from a custom tune, but you won't have to go through the O2 delete, which is a huge pain.
So I'm wondering if anyone knows the best place to buy these (Bilstein 5175959AC) at the best price. The best price I've found is $443.20 for a pair plus shipping or $225.97/each. Either way they both work out to about $535 Canadian shipped to me.

Some info I found, All the normally aspirated Chrysler/Dodge/Ram/Jeep with the Hemi V8's as well as the 3.0L V6 diesels with the 8-spd automatic trany, use the same ZF sourced 8HP70 transmission which rated to 516 ft-lbs or 700 Nm of torque.
180* Thermostat. I know from reading all the posts that a lot of guys are hot, (pardon the pun), for changing to a Jet, or Motorad 180* thermostat instead of the OEM. So, i went down to my Jeep dealer to see if per chance MOPAR had a 180 that would fit the 6.1. The parts guy Pulled up the GC SRT8 service manual on his computer and low and
. Alas...the Hemi gods have not yet deemed me worthy...I got a message today from my dealer (AFTER I sent him a message asking about it!) that NOW they think it'll be ready FRIDAY!SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It appears that there was some alignment problem with the sunroof that they noticed, there was a bent part or something, so they ordered another part, and he thinks it'll be ready for pickup on friday now. I just can't believe this whole for the tips, some good info there - now I just hope I can remember it all on FRIDAY...HOPEFULLY FRIDAY!!!!! and mine is black also - but ours will be out in the parking lot, since they'll have OTHER srt8's on the track for us to trash - ahem, I mean drive... maybe I'll just walk around saying "anyone here post on Edmunds?" Boy, I can't believe this. I'm glad my wife already verified the vehicle is there. And I guess I'm glad they found this before I took it home - though I pray that the sunroof hasn't been leaking all this time......And don't worry, I do plan to honor the breakin period...since it's only 300 miles...though my philosophy is usually to break it in the way it's going to be driven!! But I'll wait this time, I am wondering about the attention factor, do people really notice that it's something different? I have yet to see one on the road myself, believe it or not!! I figured at least when I'm blowing away those kids in the mustang gt's that they'll notice...

that is for sure. my friend has the new land rover lh3 and it is so slow very nice inside but so we test drove the srt in the rain i was very impressed to say the least and that was in near freezing conditions the wait is killing me. when another dealer gets one in I will try to schedule a road test on a nice day. I love the m3, the sound, the handling and the engine sound especially when i rev it up to 8,000 and the funny thing is that my wife loves the m3 too .when i'm in the passenger side i often see her grin sometimes when see punches it. at first my wife did not like the m3 then see got pregnant. then see said we need a car that an infant seat will fit. fortunately for me it did. the next thing was if the kid does not like it or it becomes to difficult then we need to get rid of the m3. to say the least the baby loved it, and cried anytime we were in any other vehicle besides the m3. when we found out a second one was on the way I looked at x-5 and the porsche, did not test drive just look, but if i was going to spend that much money I was going for the M5 but I want sure how I would react to the SMG being a stick guy and all. alot of people love it and other people hate it. I wasn't going to order a 95K car not knowing how I would feel about it and the stick version is not coming out until next year. now the second one is on the way and i feel it would be difficult to travel with two car seats in the back of the m3. but my wife, you is understanding, said we will try to manage it knowing how much i loved the m3. my brother who has a 20003 jeep cherokee mentioned to me a couple of months ago that an srt version is coming out. then out of curiosity wanted to see if any dealer had any to test drive last week after the third call a dealer said we just got one off the truck. when i went there is was love at first sight.
